  • Patent number: 7782589
Abstract: A lens holding frame for holding lenses, both in front of the projection optics of an HMD device and in front of the eye portion of a wearer of the HMD device, the lens holding frame including a nose bridge, the HMD device including a nose pad arranged to support the nose bridge, and at least one correction lens. The lens holding frame is arranged to be stretched out of its original shape under a manual pressure to at least one transitional shape, and includes connecting elements arranged to connect in a reversible manner the HMD device to the lens holding frame being in a transitional shape and having its nose bridge supported by the nose pad of the HMD device.

  • Patent number: 7366098
Abstract: A method is described that resets a first count and resets a second count if a first transmission unit is recognized as being within a new measurement time window. The first transmission unit has a size. The method also increments the first count by the first transmission unit size and by the size of each subsequent transmission unit that is received within the new measurement time window after the first transmission unit—so long as the first count does not exceed a maximum allowable value for the first count. The method also checks if a maximum value for the second count is exceeded if it is incremented by a second transmission unit size. The second transmission unit is received within the measurement time window. The check is in response to a determination that the first count would have exceeded the first count maximum allowable valuable if the first count were incremented by the second transmission unit size.

  • Patent number: 7187683
Abstract: A statistics data collection mechanism for distributed, high-speed data processing environments is described. According to one embodiment, an update message containing statistics data related to a data packet carried along a virtual connection is assembled and the update message is then transmitted to a statistics collection engine for further processing. According to another embodiment, the update message is received from one or more processing devices, and multiple counters are then updated to store the statistics data.

  • Publication number: 20050228978
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of downloading software programs into a storage unit. The software programs include a boot code and an application code, the boot code allowing downloading the application code. The storage unit comprises at least a current boot code and a current application code. The method comprises:—upon a download request, downloading a new boot code in a location, which does not overwrites the current boot code,—indicating that the new boot code replaces the current boot code,—downloading a new application code associated to the new boot code in a location, which does not overwrites the new boot code,—indicating that the new application code is valid.
