Abstract: A method for controlling a forced induction engine includes: determining a first air pressure upstream of an air compressor, the air compressor supplying compressed air to the engine; determining a second air pressure downstream of the air compressor; determining a limit air flow rate to the engine corresponding to the surge limit of the air compressor based at least in part on the first and second air pressures; and controlling a throttle valve actuator to position the throttle valve at a position providing an air flow rate that is greater than or equal to the limit air flow rate. A vehicle power pack having a control unit implementing the method and a vehicle having the vehicle power pack are also disclosed.

The processor is configured to calculate a mutual information value between a first chunk and a second chunk, and to add a new word to a language unit when a condition involving the mutual information value is satisfied. The new word is a combination of the first chunk and the second chunk. The processor is also configured to add the new word into an n-gram store. The n-gram store includes a plurality of n-grams and associated frequency or count information. The processor is also configured to alter the frequency or count information based on the new word.

Generally, the unique identifiers are assigned sequentially and contiguously, beginning with a first word alphabetically and ending with a last word alphabetically. When a user inputted prefix is received, a range of unique identifiers corresponding to words respectively having a prefix that matches the user inputted prefix are identified. Typically, the range of unique identifiers corresponds to substantially all of the words that begin with the given prefix and does not correspond to words that do not begin with the given prefix. The unique identifiers may then be compared to a probability database to identify which words have a higher probability of being selected by the user.

Abstract: A coin roll dispenser has a number of coin magazines each filled with rolls of coins of a given denomination and removably seated within a housing. Each magazine has a motorized conveyor adapted to receive and sequentially dispense individual coin rolls through a discharge aperture into a discharge passage which transports the coin rolls dispensed from the magazines to a receptacle from which they may be removed by a purchaser. Dispensing is controlled by activating the conveyor in selected magazines. A first sensor detects the coin rolls as they are dispensed from the magazines and a sensor in advance of the receptacle produces a total count which is compared with the total ordered and the total from the first sensor.
