  • Patent number: 11828312
Abstract: A method for temporarily releasing a screw anchorage includes unscrewing and removing a primary screw having a thread that is tappingly engaged in a mating thread in an ungrouted hole in a mineral substrate from the ungrouted hole. Subsequently to the unscrewing and removing, a retrofitting screw is screwed into the hole to form an annular gap between the retrofitting screw and the mineral substrate. A hardenable grout is placed in the annular gap and the hardenable grout is hardened in the annular gap.

  • Publication number: 20210310963
Abstract: A method for rating a fastener arrangement that includes a mineral substrate having a hole and a screw which is disposed in the hole, includes unscrewing the screw out of the hole, following the unscrewing, optically inspecting the hole for presence or absence of grout in the hole, and rating the hole as satisfactory when grout has been optically detected in the hole and rating the hole as unsatisfactory when grout has not been optically detected in the hole.

  • Publication number: 20210285848
Abstract: A method for rating a screw which is disposed in a hole in a concrete or masonry substrate includes applying a screw torque to the screw, measuring motion data of the screw in response to the applied screw torque, and rating the screw as either satisfactory or unsatisfactory on a basis of the measured motion data.

  • Publication number: 20210054866
Abstract: A method for producing a bimetallic screw with a tip element and a drive element, in which a first blank comprising a steel with 0.07 to 0.14% by weight carbon, 13 to 15% by weight chromium, 1.3 to 1.7% by weight molybdenum, 1.5 to 2.0% by weight nickel and 1.0 to 1.5% by weight manganese is provided and the tip element is made from the first blank. A bimetallic screw with a tip element and a drive element is also provided, the tip element and the drive element having a different material composition, and the tip element comprising at least in some areas a steel with 0.07 to 0.14% by weight carbon, 13 to 15% by weight chromium, 1.3 to 1.7% by weight molybdenum, 1.5 to 2.0% by weight nickel and 1.0 to 1.5% by weight manganese.

  • Patent number: 8257646
Abstract: UHC lightweight structural steel with improved scaling resistance, comprising the composition in % by weight C: 1 to 1.6, Al: 5 to 10, Cr: 0.5 to 3, Si: 0.1 to 2.8, the remainder iron and customary impurities accompanying steel, and a method for producing components hot-formed from this in air, wherein hot-forming temperatures of from 800 to 1050° C. are used, depending on the Si content.

  • Publication number: 20110283654
Abstract: In the case of a mounting rail (1) for embedding into a curable construction material (3), e.g. concrete (4), with a support profile (2), with at least one opening (14) made in the mounting rail (1), especially in the support profile (2), and with an anti-corrosion coating (7) created on the surface of the mounting rail (1), an adequate corrosion protection of the mounting rail (1) should exist in the area of the openings (14), even when the mounting rail (1) is hot-galvanized before the openings (14) for nails (16) or screws are created in the mounting rail (1). A plug is inserted into the at least one opening (14), so that the at least one opening (14) is closed by the plug.
