  • Patent number: 4926959
Abstract: An operator control for vehicle components includes drive and driven members respectively operating a power actuator and a mechanical drive for moving a vehicle component between its operative positions. The drive and driven members move as a unit between operative positions of the driven member corresponding to the operative positions of the component. The drive member is uncoupled from the driven member at the operative positions of the latter for independent movement to its operative positions which also correspond to the operative positions of the component. The drive and driven members respectively operate the power actuator and the mechanical drive at their respective operative positions.

  • Patent number: 4777766
Abstract: The present invention provides a vehicle window regulator for curved windows. The present invention reduces the deflection of the sector arms of the window regulator allowing the use of lighter materials in the regulator components and also allowing the window to be placed into a thinner door panel enclosure than that previously allowable.

  • Patent number: 4585261
Abstract: A vehicle body door lock includes a pivoted operating lever connected to a pivoted transfer lever by a shiftable rod having a hooked end hooked through an opening in one end of the operating lever. The transfer lever rotates the operating lever against a spring bias. The position of the transfer lever relative to the frame is adjustably set by a bendable tab to eliminate lost motion between the hooked end of the rod and the operating lever and locate the levers and rod in rattle free relationship. The bight of the rod seats in an arcuate bearing area of the opening in the operating lever to reduce operating effort.
