Abstract: A disc brake for a utility vehicle has a brake caliper overlapping a brake disc. An application device is arranged in the brake caliper and has a brake lever. At least one adjusting spindle is moveable axially by the application device. An adjusting device is located in the caliper and can be actuated by the brake lever, wherein a wear-related change in a clearance between the brake pad and the brake disc can be substantially compensated by the an axial adjustment of the adjusting spindle. The adjusting device has at least one driver finger which is arranged on the brake lever, extends in the swivelling direction of the brake lever and corresponds to a toothed drive element in operative connection with the adjusting spindle for adjustment. The disc brake is designed such that the driver finger has a support region which is convexly curved in longitudinal extent and which, in function, bears against the associated flank of a tooth of the drive element.

Abstract: A radially actuated drum brake for a commercial vehicle has a brake drum, an anchor housing with bearing receptacles for brake linings, at least two brake linings, which are mounted in respective bearing receptacles in an accommodation space of the brake drum, each of the brake linings having a friction lining carrier, a friction lining arranged thereon, and a pressure piece, which is arranged on an underside of the lining carrier, the underside facing away from the friction lining, and protrudes radially in the direction of the rotational axis of the brake drum through an opening in the relevant bearing receptacle. An application device is arranged on a cylinder sleeve of the anchor housing and has at least one pressing part with which the brake linings can be pressed against an inner lateral face of the brake drum in an application direction radial to the rotational axis of the brake drum.

Abstract: Disclosed is a brake application mechanism for a disc brake in a utility vehicle, having a pivotable brake lever that is supported on an inner wall of a brake caliper and, indirectly, on a bridge which is movably disposed in the brake caliper and which supports at least one brake pad, wherefor an axially and radially secured antifriction roller is disposed between the brake lever and the bridge. The disclosed brake application mechanism is designed such that the antifriction roller rests on the bridge in such a way as to be prevented from rotating and sliding.
