The clamp also includes an extension portion coupled to the base portion, the extension portion having a spacing element for adjusting a clamping width based at least on a thickness of the platform. The clamping width is a distance between the tray and an element of the clamp. The clamp can be coupled to a tray having a corresponding connector element that forms the detachable joint with the clamp, to form a tray assembly.
