Abstract: A bearing assembly has a load carrying housing subjected to oscillation that has an internal helical thread mating with a threaded load supporting stationary shaft, the threaded elements having seals at their ends for holding lubricant in the clearance space therebetween. In a preferred embodiment, one or more grooves are provided along the housing for the reception of debris and as a reservoir, additional clearance at the ends being provided for a lubricant reservoir.
