  • Patent number: 8769492
Abstract: Disclosed is a computerized system and method for dynamically applying a rights management policy to a message by allowing an administrator to associate certain rights management policies with certain senders and recipients of messages, with groups of users possessing certain common criteria which define the users and groups of users, with certain attributes of the message, and with certain environmental attributes. In some embodiments, an administrator is allowed to automatically update a rights management protected message as it passes through a message transfer agent. The administrator may determine either on a regular interval or an ad-hoc basis that the message transfer agent scan the messages stored to determine whether or not the content has expired. If the content has indeed expired the administrator may take steps to have the expired content deleted entirely, refreshed with more current content, or replaced with a tombstone indicating that the original content has expired.

  • Publication number: 20070176458
Abstract: This invention is directed toward a frost-prevention device which sits on a vehicle windshield. The invention consists of a thin sheet of suitable fabric with ends long enough to extend beyond the sides of the windshield into the space between the car door and the door jam. The invention also has top and bottom portions which may be tailored to accommodate the curves from the bottom of the windshield to the hood of the car and from the top of the windshield over the roof of the car as desired. Because the device can be physically restrained when a user closes a car door on the sides of the invention, it is not only theft-resistant but also can be secured to the windshield of a vehicle through this means, thereby allowing it to remain in place with no additional means of fastening the device to the window or windshield.

  • Patent number: 5778993
Abstract: A common problem with reverse circulation downhole hammers is retention of the sample tube that extends through the actual hammer component., There is a tendency for the sample tube to become loose in its mounting, and the resulting movement through vibration results in accelerated wear which rapidly leads to failure of the component In this application, the sample tube for use in a reverse circulation downhole hammer comprises a sample tube that has a lower end connected to a drill bit sample delivery aperture and an upper end connected to a drill string sample delivery tube. The sample tube has at least one projection intermediate the upper and lower ends of the sample tube that has a non-circular cross section extending radially from the sample tube. The projection locates within a recess that has a corresponding cross sectional shape, the recess being fixed with respect to the hammer to prevent rotation of the sample tube with respect to the hammer.

  • Patent number: 3933371
Abstract: A protective overhead guard device for lift trucks includes a rigid rear leg construction connected to the rear ends of the side members of the overhead guard canopy for adjustment pivotally to a plurality of positions, said connections to the side members being fixed and rigid. The lower ends of the legs connect to adjustable brackets for different longitudinal adjusted positions of the counterweight.
