    Abstract: An extendable shovel tool including a shovel blade member. The shovel blade member has a rear end with a handle member projecting therefrom. The handle member has an opening and at least three holes proportionately spaced along the length. A tubular member is sized for positioning within the handle member and is capable of increasing and decreasing the operable length of the handle member. Lastly, a button, that is retractable, is mounted within the tubular member for locking the tubular member within the handle member.
