  • Publication number: 20110223832
Abstract: A brassiere has a plurality of interchangeable coverings capable of adorning the brassiere so as to change the visual appearance of the brassiere. The brassiere includes a plurality of fastening means, which include hooks, snaps, Velcro, zipper, buttons and/or fabric ties. The coverings have mating fastening means and are capable of being attached to the brassiere so as to provide an outer covering. The coverings differ from each other by way of fabric, colour, pattern and/or texture. Optionally, the brassiere can have means to reveal or conceal the woman's cleavage.

  • Publication number: 20110192713
Abstract: A magnetic fuel treatment system and apparatus has a body which houses a series of magnets, a fuel channel and a detachable cover. The apparatus is so structured and dimensioned as to provide a system which facilitates a good force to volume ratio and ease of sealability. The series of magnets mounted in the body in operative locations is purposed to create a combination of magnetic forces.

  • Publication number: 20080263958
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and method for preventing entry into a room having an upper window such as a school classroom door. Specifically, the device is an entry resistant material positioned on the lower part of the inside of the classroom door which can be moved into position over the inside of the classroom door window and prevent or resist entry into the window and optionally restrict viewing into the classroom.

  • Patent number: 5739367
Abstract: A process for preparing a cobalt (III) complex is described which comprises: (i) treating a divalent cobalt salt of formula Co.sup.II X.sub.2/n where n is the valency of an anion X, with up to 15 molar equivalents of ammonia or an amine; (ii) oxidizing the resulting amine complex; (iii) converting the oxidized complex to the corresponding carboxylate of formula ?Co.sup.III (NR.sub.3).sub.5 R.sup.1 COO!X.sub.2/n where each R, which may be the same or different, represents hydrogen or an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group and R.sup.1 represents an alkyl or alkenyl group of 1 to 18 carbon atoms, at a pH above 8.5; and optionally (iv) replacing the X ion by a different anion by a metathetical reaction.

  • Patent number: 4534679
Abstract: A combination expansion shell and resin secured anchor assembly for installation in a mine roof opening including an elongated bolt having rebar attached to the upper end thereof and an expansion shell below the rebar. The assembly is inserted into a mine roof opening in the back end of which is positioned a resin and catalyst cartridge, the cartridge being ruptured by the rebar, allowing the resin and catalyst to gravitate downwardly between the opening wall and rebar, where they are mixed upon rotation of the bolt and rebar. The bolt is rotated a predetermined number of revolutions to obtain optimum mixing of the resin and catalyst, after which continued rotation of the bolt in the same direction causes outward movement of the expansion shell into gripping engagement with the mine roof.

  • Patent number: 4347020
Abstract: A mine roof bolt assembly including a shank having anchoring means at one end for securing the shank in the back of the bore, the opposite end of the shank being threaded. A bolt head having a central bore, includes a first threaded bore portion threadedly engaged with the threaded end of the shank. A stop plug is threaded into a second threaded bore portion in the bolt head and abuts an end of the shank to initially limit penetration of the shank into the bore of the head. The bolt head is rotated by rotational means having a predetermined torque limit, moving the head longitudinally with respect to the shank, exerting a force on the stop plug which strips the threads from the second threaded bore portion, thereby permitting uninterrupted passage of the shank through the bore. A roof plate positioned on the shank between the bolt head and roof is then forced upwardly by the head into supporting engagement with the mine roof, and the predetermined torque of the rotational means is established.
