  • Patent number: 5898566
Abstract: An assembly for both distributing electricity and limiting the flow of current has a housing, input conductors, first output conductors, second output conductors, an insulating spacer block, and limiters. Portions of the input conductors and first output conductors overlay each other with the insulating spacer block therebetween. The limiters electrically connect the input conductors to the output conductors with pairs of limiters connected between a single input conductor and separate output conductors.

  • Patent number: 5653612
Abstract: An electrical connector with a housing and a plurality of contact assemblies. Each contact assembly has a contact and a contact mount. Both the contact and the contact mount are generally tubular shaped. The contact mount surrounds a substantial portion of the contact and has tabs that are bent into a slot in the contact to fixedly and stationarily attach the contact mount to the contact. A front end of the contact mount has a latch that latches behind a portion of the housing. A rear end of the contact mount has a stabilizer cone that circumferentially contacts the housing to stabilize the assembly inside the housing.

  • Patent number: 5310364
Abstract: A grounding block electrical connector is provided with a housing, electrical contact terminals, a housing insert, retainer clips, and a top cap. The housing is a one-piece metal member with a receiving cavity, top rivet posts, bottom rivet posts, and drainage holes. The contact terminals have contacts located in the receiving cavity and an integral busing strip. The busing strip is electrically and mechanically connected to the housing by the bottom rivet posts. The housing insert is located in the receiving cavity and has holes with the contacts located in the holes. The top cap is fixedly connected to the top of the housing over the receiving cavity by the top rivet posts. The housing insert has posts extending from its top surfaces that are located in post apertures of the top cap to thereby hold the insert at a stationary position in the receiving cavity.
