  • Publication number: 20170112437
Abstract: A method of determining a degree of hydration of a sample, by generating a radio frequency signal with a frequency of no less than about two megahertz. The radio frequency signal is directed into the sample with an antenna that does not contact the surface of the sample. A reflected radio frequency signal is received from the sample and compared to the reflected radio frequency signal. Differences between the directed radio frequency signal and the reflected radio frequency signal are correlated to a degree of hydration of the sample.

  • Publication number: 20100281042
Abstract: A method and system for accessing video file content is provided. When a user encounters a web page with video content, the user can select to view the video content and wait for the server to transcode the video file and to stream the transcoded video file to the user's client device. Alternatively, the user may request that the server transcode the video file and to send the transcoded video file to the user's device, where the transcoded video file will be stored. While waiting for the video to be transcoded, the user may browse other websites, for example. In addition, a user may a request may request that the server transcode the video file and to stream the transcoded video file to the user's device in real-time.

While waiting for the video to be transcoded, the user may browse other websites, for example. The user may then view the video file at a later time that is convenient by accessing a video file inbox. The transcoded video file could alternatively be stored at the server, which can send a notification to the user's device to indicate that the video file has been transcoded.

  • Publication number: 20030045276
Abstract: In accordance with the preferred embodiments of the present invention, a communication network (110) and a method (600) for enabling a mobile feature on a land line element are described herein. The communication network (110) generally includes a home subscriber server (240), a services client element (220), and a database translation feature server (230). The home subscriber server (240) being operable to provide mobile feature information. The services client element (220) is coupled for communication with the home subscriber server (240) to retrieve mobile feature information based on a registration associated with a subscriber. The database translation feature server (230) is coupled for communication with the services client element (220) to receive the mobile feature information. Furthermore, the database translation feature server (230) is operable to transmit the mobile feature information to a land line element (250).

  • Patent number: 5767650
Abstract: A display device for sequentially displaying multiple sets of image pixels formed on a transparent mosaic through an aperture pattern formed in a substantially opaque mask. An DC gear motor and drive assembly is employed to move the mosaic through a predetermined travel path relative to the mask to sequentially register the image sets with the aperture pattern. A control system is employed to temporarily deactivate the gear motor at predetermined precise positions to display the various images through the aperture pattern.
