  • Patent number: 6971615
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention may include a line support system that may have a support member with an elongate body that may form a loop. The support member may be configured such that a positive biasing force may be provided at a distal end of the line support. The support member may have a first support arm and a second support arm that may be biased to abut one another and may be further capable of separating at the distal end of the line support when a sufficient force may be applied that overcomes the biasing force. The line support may also have an alignment retainer located at the distal ends of the first and second support arms that may be capable of assisting in positioning the first and second support arms in abutment so that they do not scissor. A bias adjustment mechanism may also be provided that may be selectively positionable about the first and second support arms and further may be configured such that the biasing force may be selectively adjustable.

  • Patent number: 6962232
Abstract: A torso harness reduces injury from a fall from a utility pole. The torso harness has a safety belt for wrapping around the waist of a person. A single strap forms a left and a right leg loop. The single strap has a first end secured to the safety belt and a second end secured to the safety belt. The single strap also has a clasp sliding along the single strap. The single strap pulls between the legs of the person and up through the groin area. When the clasp is secured to the safety belt, the single strap thus forms the left and the right leg loop.

Abstract: A telecommunications cabinet is disclosed. The telecommunications cabinet includes a housing and first, second and third doors. The housing is for enclosing telecommunications equipment and defines an access opening. The first door is connected to the housing via a first hinge and is moveable between a closed position and an open position. The second door is connected to the housing via a second hinge and is moveable between a closed position and an open position. The third door is connected to the housing via a third hinge and is moveable between a closed position and an open position. The third door overlaps the first and second doors when the first, second and third doors are in the closed position.
