  • Patent number: 7040980
Abstract: A combine harvester for harvesting grain and seed crops includes a double unloading auger system for unloading in both directions of travel harvested feed grains produced in one round or two lengths of a field to storage area of transport vehicle. The double unloading auger system has a first main unloading auger assembly being selectively operable for discharging the harvested grain from a first side of the combine harvester to the transport vehicle and a second main unloading auger assembly being selectively operable for discharging the harvested grain from a second side of the combine harvester to the transport vehicle. A pair of transverse auger is located in a bottom wall of the grain tank and is selectively reversibly driven for delivery of the harvested grain from the grain tank to either the first main unloading auger assembly or the second main unloading auger assembly.

  • Patent number: 4871031
Abstract: A rotary hoe tool of the type wherein one or more of such rotary hoe tools are mounted for rotation on one or more axles supported by a frame assembly for cutting and digging into the ground as they are rotated. A plurality of elongated teeth or cutting tools are pivotally mounted for limited pivotal movement on a rotatable hub, so when each tooth or cutting tool begins to dig into the ground as the hub rotates it to that position, the tooth or cutting tool itself pivots rearwardly a permitted limited distance against the pressure and resistance of the ground. Such pivotal movement compresses a wedge shaped resilient and compressible member interposed between each pair of adjacent teeth or cutting tools, which limits the rearward pivotal movement of such tooth or cutting tool and which then propels it forward as the initial pressure or resistance dissipates and the compressible member expands back to its non-compressed state.

  • Patent number: 4019753
Abstract: A tractor implement attaching hitch mechanism of the three-point type that utilizes a hydraulic actuator for readily adjusting the attaching mechanism out of a vertical plane, whereby the remotely controlled latches may be activated for attaching the implement to the tractor. The hitch mechanism comprises a frame including a pair of depending legs interconnected by a horizontal support member. The support member and one of the legs include brackets which are connected to two draft links of the tractor, and the other leg is connected to the other draft link by a link member which is pivotally connected to the leg and the draft link. The hydraulic actuator is carried by the support member and connected to the link member for pivoting the link member so as to vertically move the leg to vary the plane of the hitch mechanism relative to the tractor.
