  • Patent number: 11120434
Abstract: A method for securing transaction in a blockchain network and a related system with a blockchain network. The blockchain network has information handling devices operably connected with each other. The information handling devices collectively maintain a blockchain ledger containing one or more transaction blocks with transaction information. The method includes validating a new transaction request to be added to the blockchain ledger. The validation includes digitally signing, at two or more of the information handling devices in the blockchain network, respectively, an interim block associated with the new transaction request, using a HASH value of the interim block and respective private keys of the two or more of the information handling devices. The method also includes verifying the one or more signed interim blocks for determining whether to add to the blockchain ledger a new transaction block containing the validated new transaction request and the at least two digital signatures.

  • Publication number: 20190303363
Abstract: A system and method for operating a blockchain network including ledger servers arranged in a first mesh network and collectively maintaining a blockchain ledger. The method includes: determining that a new transaction data block is to be added to the blockchain ledger, and assigning a mining task: (i) to one or more and not all of the ledger servers; or (ii), via one or more of the ledger servers, to one or more electrical IoT devices operably connected with the respective one or more ledger servers. The mining task is to compute a HASH value associated with the new transaction for adding the new transaction data block to the blockchain ledger.

  • Patent number: 5138189
Abstract: A circuit for sampling a digital input signal utilizing an asynchronous strobe signal and a method for such synchronization are disclosed. The circuit includes an input storage element, such as a latch, which stores the input signal upon receipt of a strobe signal. There is a possibility that the input storage element will become temporarily metastable, with the output of the element being indeterminate, should the digital input signal change levels at substantially the time that the strobe signal is received. The subject synchronization circuit includes circuitry which senses when the input storage element is metastable and gating circuitry which produces a synchronized signal after receipt of the strobe signal, provided the input storage element is not metastable. The synchronized signal can then be used to clock the stored input signal.
