Abstract: In a system and method for facilitating and managing transactions of fractional ownership interests in assets, one or more assets are stored in an asset repository. An asset database is in communication with a central computer server and maintains records of each of the one or more assets in the asset repository. There are multiple user devices, each of which communicates with the central computer server via a software application running on the user device. A transaction is initiated via the software application running on a selected user device with respect to a fractional ownership interest in a selected asset. The transaction is communicated from the selected user device to the central computer server, and the central computer server confirms the transaction and then updates the asset database to reflect a change of ownership of the selected asset.

Abstract: An Internet-based system allows registered users of the system to enter sweepstakes contests for various prizes, said prizes being offered by prize presenters registered with the system. Upon entry of a particular sweepstakes, the sweepstakes player is re-directed to an advertisement based on the demographic information previously entered by the user. Advertisers registered with the system pay for these re-directions. Once a predetermined number of re-directions has occurred, creating a predictable amount of revenue generation, prize presenters are compensated for offering the various sweepstakes prizes.
