Abstract: A bottle opener with counter is described which is capable of removing crown or twist caps from beverage bottles and which has a digital display indicating the number of bottles opened during a certain period. It is of relatively simple construction and is hand-held, comprising a handle or body containing the counter and a head with bottle cap engaging structure. The application of leverage or torque in removal of a bottle cap causes the counter, which may be either mechanical or electronic, to be advanced.
