The device includes a home plate formed from a single piece of molded material with a beveled edge to facilitate smooth transitions onto and off the plate. Pedestal wings extend outward from opposite sides of the home plate, providing tactile foot placement indicators to guide a user in maintaining a proper stance. A connecting piece positioned between each pedestal wing and the home plate creates a separation that allows ground visibility while reinforcing structural stability. The device promotes consistent foot positioning, enhances stance stability, and minimizes tripping hazards. A method of use is also disclosed, involving directing a user to place their feet on the pedestal wings while practicing batting to reinforce proper mechanics. The training device is adaptable for use in various sports, including cricket, and may incorporate adjustable or textured surfaces for improved performance.

Abstract: An apparatus for fluid drainage formed of a flexible waterproof material such as a rubber and which has a first end with a cut terminating in a hole to surround a water supply for example a pipe. The hole is surrounded by a elongate reinforcement portion and the second end of the apparatus also has an elongate portion disposed along a portion of the periphery of the apparatus at this second end. The two elongate portions direct and form a barrier for the water flow enabling catchment of a flow of water and direction of the water in a predetermined direction for collection.

Abstract: There is described a non-refillable pourer fitment for the neck of a container comprising inner and outer parts captively attached to each other, a valve member located and movable in a longitudinal bore in the inner part and the outer part being formed with a longitudinal bore at its inner end and a dispensing aperture at its outer end, the longitudinal bore in the outer part varying in radius along its length from a portion of relatively large radius to a portion of relatively small radius, an obturator disc intermediate said portion of relatively small radius and said outer end having a radius greater than said relatively small radius. An inwardly extending peg on the obturator disc suitably controls the limit of movement of the valve member, and the obturator disc is preferably attached through spaced frangible stays to an annular ring adapted to fit tightly within the entrance of the bore of a container to which the fitment is fitted.
