Movement of the cutting elements conforms to the contours of the inner surface of a salad bowl to quickly and efficiently cut salad. The cutting elements are also movable in a substantially perpendicular direction relative to the plane of the inner surface of the salad bowl to provide a chopping action in addition to the rotatable cutting action.
