Abstract: A dental vacuum system for use in dental operatories wherein a dental aspirator tip and in the dental operatory is in fluid communication with a vacuum means for providing suction to the system, there being interposed between the aspirator tip and the vacuum means a separation chamber for the separation of effluent, and solids, including amalgam and other particulate matter from the air stream, the separation chamber being in communication with a collection chamber for the separation collection of solids, amalgam and other particulate matter, from the effluent which is discharged, the collection chamber being removably replaceable from the system for the recycling of the contents.

Abstract: There is disclosed an apparatus and process having positioning surface for a reusable storage film having information projected image-wise therein wherein the image-wise containing storage film is advanced by a transportation assembly through an information retrieval or interrogation assembly and thence introduced into a restoration collection chamber including a source of light at an energy level sufficient to remove residual image information thereby restoring the storage film to a condition of reuse.

Abstract: A photo-stimulable phosphor imaging plate having a non-toxic radio-opaque symbol, pattern or indicia formed on one surface, the so called rear surface, which would become visually apparent in an image if the imaging plate was exposed from the wrong side, thereby eliminating confusion that the image is from the opposing side of the face, and a light-opaque, color contrasting, asymmetric symbol or indicia on the front surface eliminating the confusion of a flipped image, and a correspondingly back to back located color contrasting identical asymmetric symbol on the opposite rear surface of the plate, emulating the raised orientation dot of standard intraoral films.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a suspension member and the process for constructing the suspension member. The suspension member comprises a folded single sheet of metal which is enlarged at one end to couple to a wheel assembly and U-shaped at the other end to pivotally connect with a vehicle frame. The process of constructing the suspension member comprises the steps of stamping a single sheet from a piece of stock, deforming the sheet to form a pocket defining the enlarged end, folding the sheet to form a substantially rectangular cross section and welding the seam between adjoining edges of the folded sheet. In order to support a spring assembly a tube extends through the folded sheet and cooperates with the spring assembly to attach the latter to the folded sheet.
