  • Patent number: 11820279
Abstract: A light system having: (a) a plurality of light sources connected to a vehicle and creating light that radiates away from the vehicle so that the light substantially surrounds the vehicle; and (b) one or more sensors that detect light from another light source; and wherein one or more of the plurality of light sources are turned off in a direction of the another light source while some of the plurality of light sources remain on so that a tunnel having a reduction or absence of light is formed in the direction of the another light source between the plurality of light sources that remain on.

  • Publication number: 20220365917
Abstract: A system and methods for news reporting using subscriber-specified just significant differences. Relevant news is sent to a user by propagating data through a tree data structure comprised of a root node and plurality of subscriber nodes connected to a plurality of leaf nodes which receive data from external data sources. The system maintains subscriptions between the leaf nodes, subscriber nodes and root node that assures propagation of value changes if they surpass thresholds specified by the user. A method for transmitting subscriber-specified just significant differences to a user by registering a statement of belief at a root node, specifying a just significant differences at subscriber nodes and leaf nodes, and establishing subscriptions between the root node and a proximal layer of subscriber nodes, between the proximal layer of subscriber nodes and a distal layer of subscriber nodes, and between the distal layer of subscriber nodes and leaf nodes.

  • Publication number: 20220327112
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for associating endorsers with articles on by querying a smart contract on a blockchain. The invention establishes an assessor account for an assessor in an assessment database. The assessor account includes assessment attributes of an assessor. An article record is established for an article in the smart contract on a blockchain. The article record includes a URI, an article status from said assessor, and an association between the article record and the assessor account. The system responds to a request from an article viewer in which the request includes the URI of the article by querying the smart contract, determining if the URI supplied is associated with an article record, and if so, returning to the article viewer a response that includes the article status.

  • Patent number: 6192521
Abstract: The present invention relates to a continuous process for the manufacture of a shorts garment from four single layer webs of fabric, each web having two side edges. Two of the four webs are aligned in a side by side orientation. The side edges of the two webs are bonded together, defining a first composite web. The remaining two webs are aligned in a side by side orientation. The side edges of the two remaining webs are bonded together, defining a second composite web. The first and second composite webs are aligned together in a face to face orientation, defining an arrangement having two layers of fabric and two top side edges and two bottom side edges. The composite webs are intermittently bonded in an alternating orientation near the center of the webs. The interior portion of fabric is removed, defining a cavity. One pair of side edges are folded and bonded together. The other pair of side edges are folded and bonded together.
