    Abstract: A snowplow with a hydraulically assisted mounting system is described. The snowplow includes a lifting device that is preferably a hydraulic lift ram. The hydraulic lift ram operates in a plow mode to lift and lower the snowplow onto the ground. In a jack stand mode, the hydraulic lift ram, in conjunction with a removably attachable foot, operates to position the snowplow for effortless mounting onto a vehicle.
