  • Patent number: 11160940
Abstract: An electrically operated aerosol generation system has a replaceable atomizer. The system includes a housing and an atomizer that can be received within a bore in a grasp ring of the housing. A power supply unit can be connected to the housing. A reservoir contains vaporizable liquid which can be supplied to the atomizer. A mouthpiece assembly is provided and can be actuated relative to the housing in order to separate and eject the atomizer from the housing when the power supply unit is removed.

  • Patent number: 10759126
Abstract: A carrier for carrying an ophthalmic lens comprises: a basket (10) comprising a basket wall defining a concave cavity for accommodating an ophthalmic lens (100), the basket further comprising at least three recesses (12) arranged in the basket wall at different locations along the circumference of the basket (10); and a retainer (20) comprising at least three retainer arms (21) arranged in a star-shaped configuration corresponding to the arrangement of the recesses (12) along the circumference of the basket (10). In an assembled state each retainer arm (21) of the retainer (20) engages with a corresponding one of the recesses (12) in the basket wall of the basket (10) to retain the ophthalmic lens (100) in the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20200046029
Abstract: An apparatus for generating an aerosol and/or a vapour in an inhaler device includes a reservoir for storing a supply of a liquid; a heating system fluidly connected with the reservoir for receiving the liquid and configured to heat the liquid to generate the aerosol and/or vapor therefrom; a pumping system configured to pump the liquid from the reservoir to the heating system; and a valve arrangement for regulating flow from the pumping system to the heating system, the valve arrangement having at least one valve which is configured to transition from a closed position to an open position for transmitting the liquid from the pumping system to the heating system. An inhaler device includes the apparatus, and a system includes an inhaler device and a peripheral electronic device. A method of generating an aerosol and/or a vapor in an inhaler device is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20190321572
Abstract: A refilling assembly for use with an aerosol inhaler or electronic cigarette includes a supply reservoir containing an aerosol forming substance or aerosol precursor and a supply conduit in fluid communication with the supply reservoir for supplying the aerosol forming substance to a receiving reservoir, which is a tank in the aerosol inhaler or electronic cigarette. A return conduit is provided to receive fluid from the tank when the aerosol forming substance is supplied by the supply conduit. A protrusion or connection member is provided to achieve a sealed connection between the tank, the supply conduit and the return conduit. A displaceable member is operable to displace the aerosol forming substance from the supply reservoir, through the supply conduit, towards the receiving reservoir.
