  • Patent number: 10352065
Abstract: A sheeting clamp for a temporary structure includes a first clamping plate and a second clamping plate. The first clamping plate has a first channel parallel and a second channel. The second channel has a plurality of openings therein. The first plate also includes a first plurality of apertures proximal to the first channel and a second plurality of apertures proximal to the second channel. The second clamping plate has a first channel corresponding to the first channel of the first clamping plate, and a first plurality of apertures corresponding to the first plurality of apertures of the first clamping plate. At least one securing structure secures the first clamping plate and second clamping plate around a tubular structure around which a sheet is wrapped.

  • Patent number: 10286930
Abstract: A deployable vehicle for an instrumented rail system includes a first locomotion module having a first mobility assembly configured to engage a first rail, a second locomotion module having a second mobility assembly configured to engage a second rail, an adjustable frame extendable between the first and second locomotion modules by a distance corresponding to the distance between the first and second rails, and a sensor module removably attachable to the frame. The sensor module includes a sensor suite having a plurality of sensors for gathering data while the vehicle is deployed. The sensor module includes a communications module having a first radio configured to enable the vehicle to establish at least a first communication link with a remotely located mobile base station, and a second radio configured to establish a second communication link with the remotely located mobile base station.

  • Publication number: 20060248748
Abstract: A footwear combination includes a releasably attached sock and shoe. The sock is adapted for covering a foot of a wearer, and has integrally-formed toe, top foot, heel, and sole portions. The shoe covers at least a portion of the sock, and has a shoe upper and attached sole. Hook and loop fasteners cooperate to releasably attach the shoe and sock together. The shoe and sock cooperate to form a stable, unitary outer covering for the foot.

  • Patent number: 5960341
Abstract: An improved positioning system and method for use in a wireless communication system including a plurality of base stations each having a corresponding coverage area. Scaled contour shapes are generated having minimum and maximum boundaries based upon determined RF measurements of each of the base stations. The intersections of the contour shapes define a bounding polygon area that describes the position of a mobile unit in terms of minimum and maximum error estimate. Once the bounding polygon area has been defined, the latitude and longitude of the center of the polygon area is determined whereupon corresponding street addresses may be obtained through reference to one or more databases.

  • Patent number: 4023124
Abstract: A length weighted interdigital transducer has .lambda./2 spaced electrodes within the overlap region. Outside the overlap region, the overlapping .lambda./2 spaced electrodes are connected to the bus bars by pairs of .lambda./4 spaced electrodes and extra "dummy" pairs of .lambda./4 spaced electrodes are also connected to the bus bars. The .lambda./2 spaced electrodes give a good manufacturing yield, and the .lambda./4 spaced pairs of electrodes and pairs of dummy electrodes provide compensation for wavefront distortion combined with low "interactions.
