  • Publication number: 20240415839
Abstract: The disclosure provides compositions and methods for identifying a cancer associated with an RASGRF1 gene fusion in a subject. The disclosure also includes methods of treating a subject who has been pre-selected by detecting an RASGRF1 gene fusion in a sample obtained from the subject.

  • Publication number: 20180271891
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to therapeutic inhibition of protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5). In particular, cell lines having MTAP loss and increased intracellular MTA concentrations show selective dependence on PRMT5. Thus, the invention also relates to methods of identifying and treating PRMT5-related diseases in subjects or tissues which have an MTAP deficiency, alone or in combination, with a second agent that reduces MTAP activity and/or increases intracellular MTA levels, and/or provides an MTA analogs to the cell or tissue. The invention also relates to the Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR)-Cas System and components thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to the delivery, use and therapeutic applications of the CRISPR-Cas systems and compositions in tumor cells ex vivo and/or in vivo. For example using methods disclosed herein, cells can be sensitized to PRMT5 inhibition.

  • Publication number: 20080071169
Abstract: Various methods and apparatus are described for reducing signal artifacts resulting from reflections from the surface of the object. In one method, a similar paths algorithm is used to create a calibration signal to reduce signal artefacts. In another method, an equivalent location algorithm is used to create calibration data to reduce signal artefacts. In another method, blocking screens are positioned in contact with, or closely adjacent to, the surface. In another method, an anti-reflective layer is employed. The methods may be employed singly or jointly in a breast tumour imaging device.

  • Publication number: 20050161971
Abstract: An adjustable windshield or windscreen for the front or rear openings on a golf cart. The windshield has an inner axle and outer roller with a tensionable spring affixed between the axles and outer roller. A curtain is attached to the outer roller with a fixed element sewn into a hem of the curtain. The curtain may be adjusted to various securing points and when released, automatically rewinds around the roller.
