  • Publication number: 20120031433
Abstract: A method of determining one or more operational parameters of a washing system having a wash tank to which water and material are added. In one embodiment, the method includes monitoring a concentration of material, which is decreased at least partially due to water being added to the wash tank. The method also includes maintaining the concentration of material by dispensing material into the wash tank during a material dispensing operation. Additionally, the method includes generating a parameter indicative of a rate at which the material is dispensed during the material dispensing operation. The method also includes determining a presence of a water flow abnormality based at least partially on the generated parameter.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 16, 2011
    Publication date: February 9, 2012
    Applicant: Diversey, Inc.
Inventors: Frederik J. SCHEPERS, Evert P. BAARS, Andrew J. COCKING, Wai Yin Cedric CHAN, James W. LIVINGSTON

  • Patent number: 5597508
Abstract: A liquid detergent composition comprising a dispersion of lamellar droplets in an aqueous continuous phase and a polymer consisting of nonionic monomers and ionic monomers wherein the ionic groups constitute from 0.1 to 50% by weight of the polymer, and wherein the equivalent composition, minus the polymer has a significantly higher viscosity and/or becomes unstable.

Assignee: Lever Brothers Company, Division of Conopco, Inc.
Inventors: Frederik J. Schepers, Peter G. Montague
  • Patent number: 5503765
Abstract: Non-aqueous liquids into which peracids may be stably incorporated for five days or greater when measured at 37.degree. C. are formulated by proper selection of substantially insoluble peracid, builder and buffer salts.

  • Patent number: 5011622
Abstract: In non-aqueous liquid cleaning products compositions comprising dispersed particles of aluminosilicate builder, components sensitive to decomposition catalyzed by aluminosilicate, such as bleach precursors, can be protected if the aluminosilicate particles are deactivated by pre-treatment with an ammonium or substituted ammonium compound, followed by a heating step to reduce the water level of the aluminosilicate.

  • Patent number: 4988462
Abstract: A substantially non-aqueous liquid cleaning product composition comprising solid particles dispersed in a liquid solvent phase, said composition comprising a bleach system which comprises a persalt bleach and a precursor therefor, said liquid solvent phase comprising a capped alkoxylated nonionic surfactant. When the capped nonionic is ester-capped, the presence of a further precursor is not essential.
