  • Patent number: 6824847
Abstract: A radially deployable flexible preform which, after deploying, forms a tubular structure that is curable by polymerization after positioning it in a well or in a line and moulds to the shape thereof after curing, comprises in its constitution at least one resin comprising in its chemical formula, at least one reactive multiple bond that is capable of subsequent reaction with compounds comprising in their constitution at least one terminal reactive multiple bond or a reactive multiple bond positioned at one end or the other of the molecular chain and/or on a pendant group. The long latent period heat curing resin has a glass transition temperature of at least 90° C. and can be associated with at least one polymerizable oligomer and/or at least one monomer comprising at least one multiple bond in its chemical formula. The resin can also be associated with drying reducers or flow regulators ensuring optimum retention of the fiber/matrix ratio during pressing occurring on deployment of the expandable preform.

  • Patent number: 6380319
Abstract: A polymer contains a succinimide ring substituted on the nitrogen atom by a reactive group, where the ring is supported either by the main chain or by a side chain, the polymer resulting from reacting at least one polyolefin with at least one compound containing a maleimide ring substituted on the nitrogen atom by a reactive group with formula —R—(X)n where X is a reactive group, n is a whole positive number equal to 1 or more and R is a residue containing at least one carbon atom. These polymers can be used for the production of co-extruded products, multi-layered materials, surface coatings and polymer alloys.

  • Patent number: 6015859
Abstract: A thermoplastic polymer composition contains at least two distinct polymers, characterized in that it comprises at least one polymer P1 containing at least one reactive function and at least one modified polyolefin P2 containing at least one succinimide ring substituted on the nitrogen by a reactive group, the ring being carried either by the main chain or by a side chain, and optionally at least one third polymer P3 selected from the group formed by polymers and copolymers obtained by polymerisation of one or more olefinic compounds. A mixture of polymers comprises at least one composition as defined above and at least one other polymer P5 which is identical to or different from polymer P3 and optionally at least one other polymer P6 which is identical to or different from polymer P1.
