  • Publication number: 20260146873
Abstract: Disclosed is sensor system for use with a windshield that defines at least a partially transparent region. The sensor system includes a glare shield and at least one sensor. The glare shield can be positioned adjacent to the windshield to define a sensor cavity therebetween. The at least one sensor can be disposed within the sensor cavity and oriented with a field of view through the transparent region of the windshield. In some examples, a moisture-trapping material is disposed within the sealed sensor cavity and configured to absorb or adsorb moisture to control humidity and reduce condensation within the sealed sensor cavity. In some examples, the glare shield defines an airflow path through the sensor cavity between an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet to reduce or prevent moisture accumulation within the sensor cavity.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a door handle assembly for a vehicle. The door handle assembly includes a handle housing, a handle body and a heating device. The handle body is connected to the handle housing and movable relative to the handle housing between a retracted position and a deployed position. The heating device includes a base, a cover and a heating element. The heating device is connected to the handle housing via the base. The cover and the base collectively enclose to form a cavity. When the handle body is in the retracted position, the cavity surrounds the handle body. The heating element is disposed in the cavity and configured to generate heat. The thermal conductivity of the cover is greater than the thermal conductivity of the base, and the hardness of the cover is less than the hardness of the base.

  • Publication number: 20250251489
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a housing structure (1) for a radar apparatus of a vehicle. The housing structure (1) includes a radiation window (2) formed at least partially or regionally from a plastic material. A material permittivity and a dielectric constant of the plastic material of the radiation window (2) are selected such that electromagnetic waves transmitted from and/or received by the radar apparatus can pass through the radiation window (2) at least nearly undamped, and in particular with a damping of max. 6 dB in a single pass. The housing structure (1) includes a frame region (3) surrounding the radiation window (2), in which a heating apparatus (4) is integrated, wherein fillers are embedded in the plastic material of the radiation window (2), which increase a thermal conductivity of the plastic material of the radiation window (2).
