  • Patent number: 10488536
Abstract: Embodiments relate to the restriction of gas flow in a piston-type marine vibrator to compensate for air-spring effects. An embodiment provides marine vibrator comprising: a containment housing; a piston plate; a fixture coupled to the containment housing; a mechanical spring element coupled to the piston plate and to the fixture; a driver coupled to the piston plate and to the fixture; and a variable gas flow restrictor disposed in an interior volume of the marine vibrator, wherein the marine vibrator has a resonance frequency selectable based at least in part on the variable gas flow restrictor.

  • Patent number: 9864080
Abstract: Embodiments related to restriction of gas flow in a marine acoustic vibrator to compensate for gas spring effects. An embodiment provides a marine acoustic vibrator, comprising: an outer shell; and a variable gas flow restrictor disposed within the outer shell; wherein the marine acoustic vibrator has a resonance frequency selectable based at least in part on the variable gas flow restrictor.

  • Publication number: 20160239002
Abstract: The present invention relates to a building control system, and more particular to a method and a device for set point adjustment in a building control system. The device (308) for set point adjustment comprises an active sensor configured to sense the distance to an object (310), for example at a first distance (304) and at a second distance (312). In response to sensing the movement of the object (310), the device (308) adjusts the set point from a first set point to a second set point. The second set point depends on the first set point and an offset between the first distance (304) and the second distance (312).

  • Patent number: 7677654
Abstract: An armrest for a vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a backrest. The armrest is intended to be turned around a pivot axis between a first active position and a second folded-away position. The armrest includes an upper part, which in the active position is positioned with its longitudinal axis substantially parallel to a substantially vertical plane through a side surface constituting an outer edge surface of the vehicle seat and intended to support a user's forearm, and at least one lower part provided with a fixing device for attaching the upper part to the vehicle seat. The lower part includes a linking mechanism arranged for setting the upper part in a transverse direction between a first position outside the side surface and an adjustable second position, and a locking device that is arranged to activate a catch that locks the upper part in a set position after it has been moved to the second position. A vehicle seat provided with an armrest and to a vehicle including an armrest are also provided.
