  • Publication number: 20090307736
Abstract: A method and terminal for providing Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and other communication services to a group of users, such as a family, using an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network. A group private user identity is associated with a group public user identity and with a plurality of individual public user identities, each of which is associated with a different user in the group. Utilizing the group private User ID and the group public User ID, a browser registers a group subscription with the IMS network. When an individual user enters an identifier such as a PIN, the individual is then registered with the IMS network, while maintaining the group registration with the IMS network and the IPTV network. Individual users can be changed without having to restart the browser.

  • Publication number: 20090207839
Abstract: A method and nodes in a communication network for controlling multi-cast delivery of files, wherein the multi-cast delivery is adapted to reduce the amount of required uni-cast file deliveries in the communication network. A browser of an IPTV Terminating Function requiring a file interrogates a cache of the IFT for the file content before a uni-cast request for file delivery is sent to an Application Service Platform. The files stored in the cache have been previously delivered to the IFT via the proposed multi-cast mechanism. If the file content is not stored in the cache, a uni-cast request is sent to the ASP. Each uni-cast request is also forwarded to a Multi-Cast Controller, which determines whether the requested file should be sent also to a plurality of additional IFTs on a multi-cast channel. At each IFT, listening to the multi-cast channel, the received content can be handled selectively according to a filtering mechanism, and a received file may, e.g. be stored in the cache for later retrieval.

  • Patent number: 7407526
Abstract: The invention concerns an iron powder for fortifying foodstuff. The powder consists of a reduced iron powder having irregularly shaped particles, wherein the iron powder has a ratio AD:PD less than 0.3, wherein AD is the apparent density in g/cm3, and PD is the particle density in g/cm3. The specific surface area of the powder particles is above 300 m2/kg as measured by the BET method and the average particle size is between 5-45 ?m.

  • Patent number: 7206324
Abstract: When UMTS is part of IP end-to-end communication, there must exist means for UMTS to be able to provide the required Quality of Service (QoS) for applications running over IP. Hence there is a need for a translation function for translation between IP QoS parameters and UMTS QoS attributes. This translation is not trivial because of several reasons. First, the number of QoS parameters in the IP level and the UMTS level are different. Second, definitions of parameters at the two levels are different. Keeping these factors in view, the present invention provides for a method for translation of IP QoS parameters to UMTS QoS attributes, and another method for translation of UMTS QoS attributes to IP QoS parameters. This translation will enable spectrum efficient UMTS bearers to be set up for applications running over IP. This will also make negotiation of services possible between an entity at the IP level and the UMTS network.

  • Patent number: 7188544
Abstract: An industrial delta robot with an arm system rotatable in space and including a base section, a moveable plate, several multi-jointed pull rods and a telescopic axle arranged between the base section and the moveable plate, opposite ends of the pull rods and of the telescopic axle being connected with the base section and the moveable plate respectively, and the telescopic axle comprising an inner axle and an outer tube arranged on the inner axle and displaceable in a longitudinal direction where a pair of end-to-end torsional rigid bushings are arranged in a stationary manner on the outer tube in which the inner axle is mounted to be displaceable, the bushings being spaced apart at confronting inner ends to form a transversely extending lubrication pocket for continuous lubrication of the inner axle during movement relative to the bushings.

  • Publication number: 20060157883
Abstract: The invention relates to a molded prototype product and a method for making such a molded product. The method includes the steps of providing a mold having a least a first mold section and a second mold section, assembling the mold sections into a mold assembly, which defines a mold cavity having the shape of the product to be molded and placing the mold assembly in a vacuum casting machine. The air is evacuated from the vacuum casting machine and a curable plastic material is mixed in the machine. The method also includes the steps of molding the mixed plastic material in the mold cavity in liquid form and curing the plastic material in the mold cavity. The cured molded product is then removed from the mold assembly.
