  • Patent number: 11609080
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an assembly, adapter device, and method that utilize a standard displacement gauge or the like, well known to those of ordinary skill in the art, to measure the height of a flange, such as a flange formed via bending a planar vehicle component with a given thickness and, thus, including a radius at the bottom interior of the flange. This assembly, adapter device, and method provide consistent measurements across components, operators, education and experience levels, etc. The adapter device is designed to engage the flange being measured in such a way that consistent engagement of the adapter device with the radius, and, thus, consistent engagement of the assembly with the flange, is provided for measurement.

  • Patent number: 11248812
Abstract: A filter arrangement for a humidifying device. The filter arrangement has: a rotatable body; a humidifying filter member arranged to be wetted with water; a guiding arrangement configured to guide water to a discharge region; and at least one discharge bucket arranged on the rotatable body. The at least one discharge bucket is configured to lift water from a tray and to discharge the water to the guiding arrangement as the rotatable body rotates in a first direction about a rotational axis. A humidifying device comprising a filter arrangement and a method for cleaning a humidifying filter member of a humidifying device are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9980620
Abstract: A bagless vacuum cleaner with a main housing, a dust bin releasable from the main housing upon relative movement between the dust bin and the main housing in a release direction, a filter unit, and at least one cleaning member arranged to perform a cleaning action on the filter unit upon relative movement between the at least one cleaning member and the filter unit. The relative movement between the filter unit and the at least one cleaning member is created by relative movement between the main housing and the dust bin in the release direction.

  • Patent number: 9456728
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner comprising an electric motor, an impeller and an axial diffuser arranged on a common axis is provided. The impeller is connected to the electric motor and is arranged for rotation on the common axis to achieve a radial air flow. The radial air flow is redirected into an axial air flow. The diffuser passages are arranged between an inner circumferential wall and an outer circumferential wall, wherein the walls are coaxially arranged around the common axis. Each diffuser passage is delimited in a circumferential direction between the walls by vanes extending between the inner wall and the outer wall and in an axial direction extending substantially in parallel with the common axis. The vanes are arranged in at least two rows being consecutively arranged in the axial direction extending substantially in parallel with the common axis.

  • Patent number: 9095244
Abstract: This invention relates to a dust indicator in a vacuum cleaner, which dust indicator (200) is arranged in a wall (102) at least partly defining a space of the vacuum cleaner that is set under negative pressure with respect to the outside of the wall during operation of the vacuum cleaner. The dust indicator comprises an air channel (211) having an air inlet (212) arranged at an outer side of the wall, and an air outlet (213) arranged at an inner side of the wall, such that an airflow is directed into the space during operation of the vacuum cleaner due to the negative pressure. The dust indicator further comprises a sensor (220) arranged for detecting dust by means of sending and/or receiving an electromagnetic signal which is transmitted through the space. The air channel is arranged such that the airflow prevents dust from sticking in an area of the path of the electromagnetic signal of the sensor.

  • Patent number: 9015897
Abstract: There is provided a dust detection system for a vacuum cleaner comprising a dust separation chamber (20) of cyclone type and having a separate dustbin (30) for collecting separated dust. The dust separation chamber is adapted to provide a generally cyclonic airflow for separating dust from a dust laden air stream, and is at a bottom (25) of the dust separation chamber connected via an outlet (22) to the dustbin. The dust detection system further comprises an emitter (41) positioned to emit an electromagnetic signal into the dust separation chamber during operation of the vacuum cleaner, and a receiver (42) positioned to receive the electromagnetic signal. The inventive concept is based on an understanding that when the dustbin becomes full, dust accumulates at the bottom of the dust separation chamber, i.e. stays rotating at the bottom, since it cannot enter the dustbin.

  • Patent number: 8918953
Abstract: A filter unit (100) for a vacuum cleaner includes a filter body (110) and a dust removing means (120). The filter body is elongated and at least partly flexible and the dust removing means is configured to collapse and expand the filter body in response to a force applied on the dust removing means. The filter body comprises pleats (115) extending along the filter body. The filter unit of the present invention is advantageous in that it reduces clogging and thereby increases the efficiency of the vacuum cleaner.
