Abstract: A drilling machine (120) for a core drill (100), the drilling machine comprises a motor arranged to power a spindle, the spindle comprising a drill bit interface (121 ) arranged to hold a drill bit (110) and to rotate the drill bit (110) about an axle of rotation (101 ), the drilling machine (120) comprising a tag reader (125) connected to a reader coil, wherein the reader coil is arranged at the drill bit interface (121 ) and surrounding the spindle to inductively couple to a tag coil arranged on the drill bit, the drilling machine (120) further comprising a drilling machine control unit (140) connected to the tag reader (125), wherein the drilling machine control unit is arranged to read data associated with the drill bit (110) via the inductively coupled reader and tag coils, thereby obtaining information about the drill bit.

Abstract: A method, a system, a base unit and a search unit are disclosed for locating unknown cellular telephones and guiding the search for such devices. By way of base station functionality in the base unit, mobile stations in a search area are identified and assigned dedicated communication channels. In at least one embodiment, this is achieved through establishing communication between the base unit and the mobile stations in the search area. Search information concerning the mobile stations in the search area is established in the base unit. The search information is transferred from the base unit to the search unit. A search based on the search information is initiated with the search unit.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing a signal in a pen is disclosed. When at least one section of the pen is deformed, a hammer device strikes a piezo-electronic component. In response to being struck by the hammer device, the piezo-electric component generates an electric signal. The electric signal is then applied to a wire wound inductor to create an electromagnetic nearfield.
