    Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for configuring beamforming settings. A method is performed by a wireless radio transceiver device comprising at least two receiver chains. The method comprises receiving transmission from an access node in at least two beams, each beam using a separate one of the two receiver chains. The method comprises configuring beamforming settings in at least one of the receiver chains for reception of the transmission in at least one of the beams for evaluating at least one candidate beam.
