    Abstract: An apparatus for separating materials with different degrees of flowability has a rotationally driven hollow drum with a perforated peripheral surface, which is releasably arranged on a drive element. A continuous press belt can be pressed against the hollow drum from the outside while wrapping around a portion of the circumference of the hollow drum. The press belt and the hollow drum cooperate to form an intake wedge for the pressed material. The drive element has at least one controllably movable holding means which is configured and adapted to controllably lock the hollow drum on the drive element as well as to controllably release the hollow drum from the drive element. A corresponding method is also provided.

The discharging device includes a scraping element in an upper region of the drum, and includes at least one scraping element section, which has a tilt angle of more than 90° to a tangential plane of the peripheral surface against the direction of rotation.

    Abstract: An apparatus for separating substances of different flowability includes a housing base, a hollow drum having a perforated peripheral surface which is arranged on the housing base and is driven in a revolving manner, a continuous press belt pressed from outside against the hollow drum, while wrapping around a portion of the circumference of the hollow drum, and which, together with the hollow drum, forms an intake wedge for the material to be pressed. The press belt is mounted by at least one drive roller and at least one bearing roller, and is distinguished by the fact that the drive roller is mounted on a bearing support. The bearing support is arranged on the housing base so as to be adjustable in terms of position. A corresponding method is also provided for adapting the apparatus.
