  • Publication number: 20230400170
Abstract: An LED light fixture having a rectangular or other geometric shape plastic or other rigid material panel with at least one row of flutes. Each flute has an equally sized cross-section, forming a channel extending a length of the rigid panel. A plurality of LED strips are configured to be inserted into a corresponding one of the channels. The LED strips have a common edge at one end forming electrical connections to individual LEDs on each strip. The common edge may be contained within an enclosure. A frame surrounds the rigid panel and the enclosure. The fixture may include one or more additional pluralities of LED strips received by additional channels of the rigid panel.

  • Patent number: 11393372
Abstract: A system for creating a broad spectrum lighting apparatus for illuminating a subject. The system includes a lighting panel formed by an array of colored light emitting diodes (LEDs) representing pixels corresponding to red pixels, green pixels, blue pixels, and pixels corresponding to at least color other than red, green or blue. A control interface converts a video signal consisting of red, green, blue (RGB) data into a full spectrum light display including all of the LEDS to create a higher quality white than would have been possible with only RGB LEDs.

  • Patent number: 8456091
Abstract: A system to allow a fluorescent lamp to be dimmed or otherwise improve color performance of the lamp while maintaining a constant spectral distribution. In one embodiment, the lamp will dim in light output and not shift in color temperature. An LED array is positioned under a fluorescent lamp such that its light injects back into the lamp that part of the color spectrum that diminishes as a fluorescent lamp dims. The LED array is positioned centrally along the underside of the lamp. The light from the LED is never directly visible but shines through the lamp; the lamp acting as a diffuser. The brightness level of the LEDs can be determined as a preset level relative to a predetermined dim setting or can be regulated through an electronic monitoring sensor. The monitoring could evaluate the shift in color spectrum and or intensity and render the appropriate injection of light spectrum to maintain a constant unwavering color temperature.

  • Patent number: 8192045
Abstract: A hinge retaining mechanism for a fluorescent lighting system. A portable fluorescent lighting system which utilizes an extremely lightweight corrugated plastic panel made into 5 subpanels. At each end of the panel a U shaped channel is attached that forms the center panel and the opposing adjacent two panels into a trough or recessed pan. On each of the two remaining panels is attached another U shaped channel. Each of the U shaped channels includes a mechanism for supporting a high-tension mechanical hinge. The mechanical hinge is designed to float freely within the adjacent channel brackets. One part of the hinge is mechanically retained to the channel to prevent inadvertent removal of the hinge.
