  • Patent number: 9618152
Abstract: Adjustment device for a support arm system, support arm system includes a support arm for holding an object, a hinge part having a receiving portion for securing the support arm, and the hinge part being rotatably mounted on a hinge retainer. Support arm is securable with an end face to the hinge part, and a deployment angle of the support arm being adjustable using adjustment device which is formed from a wedge-shaped adjustment head that interacts with a slide incline of the hinge part and the end face of the support arm. Adjustment head includes a wedge surface and a pressure surface that lies opposite wedge surface, and adjustment head is adjustable such that the wedge surface slides along on the slide incline and pressure surface therefore pressing against end face of the support arm such that the deployment angle of the support arm can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 6946603
Abstract: An enclosure for electrical and electronic components comprising a lower part and a cover that can be fastened thereto by a screw connection. Fastening channels are provided in the lower part parallel to screwing locations, via which the enclosure can be fastened to a support. The fastening channels continue inside the cover and open to the exterior so that the enclosure can be fastened to the support when the cover is already fastened to the enclosure lower part.

  • Patent number: 6833504
Abstract: The present invention relates to a housing for the installation of electrical components comprising a lower section and a cover connected to each other in a hinged manner by at least two flexible inner elements separated from each other outside the housing interior. The ends of the inner elements have a greater cross-section than the region lying between said ends and at least one of the ends is elastically embodied for a temporary reduction in cross-section. Openings leading into each other are provided in the cover and in the lower section, the cross-section of which permits access of the at least one end in the compressed state.

  • Publication number: 20040050572
Abstract: The present invention relates to a housing, in particular for the installation of electrical and electronic components, consisting of a housing lower section and a cover, fixable thereto, whereby the cover and housing lower section are connected to each other in a hinged manner, by means of at least two flexible inner elements, arranged at a separation from each other outside the sealed inner chamber of the housing. Conventional housings of this type have the disadvantage that the hinge-like connection of housing lower section and cover is relatively costly. The aim of the invention is to provide a less costly solution for the above. Said aim is achieved whereby the ends (19.1), (19.2) of the flexible inner element (19) have greater cross-section than the region lying between said ends, whereby at least one of the ends (19.2) is elastically embodied for a temporary reduction in cross-section.

  • Publication number: 20040047113
Abstract: The invention concerns an enclosure, particularly for accommodating electrical and electronic components. Said enclosure is comprised of an enclosure lower part and of a cover that can be fastened thereto by means of screw connection. In addition to the screwing locations, fastening channels are provided in the enclosure lower part, which are parallel to the screwing locations and via which the enclosure can be fastened to a support. An enclosure, of this type has a drawback in that, in order to fasten the enclosure to a support, the enclosure always has to be opened so that, the fastening channels can be accessed. The aim of this invention is to solve this deficiency. To this end, the fastening channels (11, 11.1) continue inside the cover (3) and open to the exterior so that the enclosure (1) can be fastened to the support when the cover (3) is already fastened to the enclosure lower part.

  • Patent number: 5600091
Abstract: An improved HF shielding feature is provided for electrical enclosures having a box-like base and a sealing cover wherein a tongue projects integrally from the upper periphery of the base into a groove formed integrally in under periphery of the cover. The tongue has a compression surface spaced apart from the base periphery, a first outside wall depends from such tongue compression surface to an outside portion of the base periphery and a first inside wall depends from the tongue compression surface to an inside portion of the base periphery. The groove has a second compression surface spaced apart from the tongue compression surface, a second outside wall depends from the groove compression surface to an outside section of the cover periphery and a second inside wall depends from the groove compression surface to an inside section of the cover periphery.

  • Patent number: 5065878
Abstract: The invention relates to a housing in particular for accommodating electrical equipment, with integrable hinges. The body of the housing may be joined to the cover by hinges which may be mounted as required in reserved zones formed as a hollow outside a rabbet in the cover and a cooperating surrounding wall of the body, limiting the interior space of the housing. The invention permits the articulation of the cover on the body of the housing and also the tightening of the body on the cover by means of the four screws provided in the four corners of the housing for this purpose.

  • Patent number: 4722693
Abstract: A safety shutter for an electrical receptacle is in the form of a sliding rocker with a pair of angled lugs on the front side and a slot that can mate with one of two electric plug receiving slots in the faceplate of the electrical receptacle and is biased by a spring into a safety position wherein such receiving slot is out of alignment with the shutter slot. The shutter slot may move into alignment with such receiving slot when an electric plug is inserted into the receptacle to simultaneously engage the angled lugs. However, the shutter rocks without sliding when a single foreign object is inserted through either of the faceplate receiving slots and engages only one of the lugs whereby the foreign object is prevented from reaching the internal contacts of the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 4632269
Abstract: Waterproof electrical enclosures for the encapsulation of electrical and electronic components have a box-like base part to be fixed to a support surface by screws or like mounting fixtures and a sealing cover held to the base part by special fasteners located in special mounting points in the corners of the enclosure. Each mounting point has a single channel extending into the base part which in cross-section size corresponds to the size of the head of a mounting fixture and narrows to an aperture for the shaft of the mounting fixture in the bottom of the base part. There are fasteners fitted through the cover, each with a connection piece thereof larger than the shaft of the fastener, such piece being fixable in the top of a base part channel to connect the cover fastener to the base part.
