    Abstract: A method for producing blind holes in a multilayered structure having a metal-synthetic-metal laminated structure characterized by forming an aperture in a metal layer of the laminated structure at the location for each of the blind holes and directing laser radiation of an excimer laser through the aperture to remove the underlying synthetic material with the removal operation being terminated by the oppositely positioned metal layer which is resistant to the laser beam.
