  • Patent number: 8407118
Abstract: A method for generating an economic indicator involves obtaining financial data from multiple data sources, where the data courses include multiple business applications and/or multiple personal financial management applications. The method further involves aggregating financial data to obtain aggregated financial data, and generating the economic indicator using aggregated financial data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 31, 2008
Date of Patent: March 26, 2013
    Assignee: Intuit Inc.
Inventors: Todd William Zazelenchuk, Thomas A. Frasher, Todd Matthew Fitch, Benjamin R. Weiss, Christopher Friedrich Dolezalek
  • Patent number: 7809622
Abstract: A method for generating an employment metric involves obtaining employer payroll data from multiple business applications and obtaining personal income data from multiple financial management applications, where personal income data indicate at least one income source absent from employer payroll data. The method further involves aggregating employer payroll data and personal income data to obtain aggregated employment data, and generating the employment metric using aggregated employment data.

  • Patent number: 4901254
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to apparatus for influencing the colour appearance of a coloured area made up of at least three chromatic separation colours in a printing process, on the basis of densitometric or colorimetric measurements, in which the inking is influenced as a matter of priority in at most two chromatic separation colours as a function of the coloured proportion of a sum vector which is determined starting from density value differences or colorimetric difference values in a colour space and broken down into a grey proportion which only affects brightness and a coloured proporation relating to at most two chromatic separation colours. In this way an improved and in particular faster influence on a colour appearance of the coloured area is achieved in a printing process.
    Type: Grant

    Inventors: Friedrich Dolezalek, Karl-Heinz Besson
  • Patent number: 4451497
Abstract: In a process for the pretreatment of photographic substrates in order to improve adhesion during subsequent coating with photographic emulsions, the corona discharge is carried out under a reduced pressure in order to treat the substrate, resulting in an improvement in the adhesion and wettability which lasts over a long period as well as a reduction in the residual charges generated or left on the substrate by the corona discharge.
