    Abstract: A urological patient bed has a table top supported by a pedestal, the table top being composed of a first plate section made of X-ray-transparent material and a second plate section, the first plate section and the second plate section being fashioned as separate plate modules that are adjacently arranged. These plate sections are detachably fastened so as to be exchangeable in their arrangement, so that different table top configurations can be selectively formed.
