  • Publication number: 20070154258
Abstract: The invention relates to a fitting for joining two parts. The fitting consists of two plate-shaped fitting parts (1a, 1b), which are screwed onto the parts to be joined by means of fastening screws. Each fitting part (1a, 1b) comprises at least one lateral slot-shaped recess (2). A first bore hole (3) is provided opposite the slot-shaped recess (2) and, when the fitting is assembled, a first tension screw (4) is screwed in through this bore hole until the screw head projects with a predetermined measure. The slot-shaped recess (2) is undercut with a predetermined measure so that, when the fitting is assembled, the recess (2) of one fitting part (1a) engages behind the projecting screw head of the other fitting part (1b), and both plate-shaped fitting parts (1a, 1b) are pressed against one another in a planar manner. A springy arresting device (6) is also provided that prevents an unintentional opening of the fitting.

  • Patent number: 7004436
Abstract: Fitting made from two planar fitting halves (1a, 1b), for connecting two components (2a, 2b), screwed to the counterform interlocking fitting halves (1a, 1b). On a relative longitudinal displacement of the components (2a, 2b), a locking clip (7), held on the fitting half (1b) in a first housing recess (8), by means of a fixing screw (7), folds in the transverse axis and, with a second housing recess (10), surrounds a head (13) of a fixing screw (14), fixed to the other fitting half (1b). The above reliably prevents a detachment of the connection in all directions.

  • Publication number: 20050001117
Abstract: A fitment comprised of two plate-shaped fitment halves (1a, 1b) for the joining of two structural parts (2a, 2b), which are screwed together with the opposite and equally engaging fitment halves (1a, 1b). By a longitudinal movement of the structural parts (2a, 2b) relative to one another, a retaining flap (7) held with a fastening screw (9) in a first holding recess (8) in fitment half (1b) folds around in the transverse axis and encloses with a second holding recess (10) a head (13) of a fastening screw (14) rigidly joining the other fitment half (1a). This reliably prevents a loosening of the joining in all directions.

  • Patent number: 6186698
Abstract: In a combination of a construction member with a connecting element the construction member is provided with a groove having opposite, inwardly mutually divergent, planar side wall portions. The connecting element, as viewed longitudinally, is formed as a rail section and includes at least two elastic legs cooperating as a pair having a free outer end. The legs are bendable to one another into a compressed condition. In a relaxed, uninstalled state the outer sides of said legs are mutually divergent towards the free outer end, and in an installed state the legs of the pair are received in the groove in the compressed condition such that the outer sides of the legs are mutually divergent towards the free outer end, whereby the outer sides of the legs resiliently engage the planar side wall portions of the groove of the construction member for holding the connecting element in the groove by friction.

  • Patent number: 5779380
Abstract: A connection for connecting structural elements (6, 7) in a butt joint, comprised of rigid connecting elements (B1) having a substantially rectangular cross-section of a predetermined thickness (d), wherein a first connection half formed of the connecting elements (B1) is fastened to the surface of a first structural element (6) to be connected, and a second connection half formed of the connecting elements (B1) is fastened to the surface, or preferably in a recess, of a second structural element (7) to be connected. The connecting elements (B1) each have an offset connecting tab (1) with an offset (V) corresponding to the thickness (d) of a connecting element (B1) ensuring that the connecting tabs (1) engage one below the other without clearance and under positive locking.

  • Patent number: 5096328
Abstract: A fitting for the connection of construction elements, such as wooden construction elements. The fitting is made of two identical fish-belly shaped fitting components which insert into corresponding grooves in the construction elements. Each fitting element has harpoon-like webs to engage the construction elements. Opposite to the fish-belly portion of the fitting element is a blade and upon the blade is at least two hook heads spaced apart by at least the width of one hook head. In the connected position, the fitting components face each other and the two complementary fitting components grip one behind the other at the hook heads.
