  • Publication number: 20220260589
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining whether a subject diagnosed with a cardiovascular disease should be prescribed a remote patient management, the method comprising measuring particular biomarkers in a sample from said patient. The invention therefore relates to a method for therapy guidance, stratification and/or monitoring of a remote patient management for a patient diagnosed with a cardiovascular disease, comprising providing at least one sample of a patient, determining a level of at least one biomarker selected from the group consisting of proADM, proBNP and proANP or fragment(s) and comparing said level of the at least one biomarker to one or more reference values, wherein said level is indicative of prescribing or not prescribing a remote patient management for said patient.

  • Patent number: 11194620
Abstract: Systems and methods for preferential treatment of a prioritized virtual machine during migration of a group of virtual machines from a first virtualized computing environment to a second virtualized computing environment. A data structure is allocated to store virtual machine migration task attributes that are associated with a plurality of in-process virtual machine migration tasks. As migration proceeds, the migration task attributes in the data structure are updated to reflect ongoing migration task scheduling adjustments and ongoing migration task resource allotments. A user interface or other process indicates a request to prioritize migration of a particular one of the to-be-migrated virtual machines. Based on the request, at least some of the virtual machine migration task attributes are modified to indicate a reduced scheduling priority of some of the to-be-migrated virtual machine migration tasks so as to preferentially deliver computing resources to the prioritized virtual machine migration tasks.

  • Patent number: 11188368
Abstract: Systems and methods for workload migration control. Migration control operations commence upon identifying a workload comprising two or more virtual machines to be migrated from a source computing environment to a target computing environment. A migration process initiates migration of the two or more virtual machines to the target computing environment. After the migration process has begun, a user identifies a prioritized virtual machine from among the two or more virtual machines that are in the process of being migrated. In response to receiving the user input, a migration manager suspends progression of selected virtual machines while accelerating progression of the migration of the prioritized virtual machine that is not suspended. The migration of the re-prioritized virtual machine preferentially receives computing resources.

  • Patent number: 9916870
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly for securing a slide-in unit in a mounting cage of a computer system. The mounting cage has a first side panel and a second side panel opposite the first side panel. The first side panel has at least one engagement element for engaging into a lateral fastening opening of the slide-in unit. The first side panel and the second side panel are arranged at a distance to one another such that the slide-in unit can be inserted into the mounting cage past the engagement element. After the insertion, a fastening element secured to the second side panel cooperates with the slide-in unit in such a way that the slide-in unit is pushed in the direction of the first side panel and the engagement element engages in the respective lateral fastening opening of the slide-in unit.
