  • Patent number: 8633428
Abstract: A scanning unit of a position measuring unit for scanning a scale, the scanning unit including a display unit having a light source. The scanning unit further including a regulating device for controlling an amplitude of an analog scanning signal of the scanning unit, wherein the regulating device triggers the light source to cause a change of an illumination state of the light source, wherein successive changes of the illumination state of the light source contain information regarding the amplitude of the analog scanning signal.

  • Patent number: 8385449
Abstract: A device that detects the presence of several amplitude-modulated high-frequency signals in a sum signal with closely-adjacent carrier frequencies. The sum signal is phase-demodulated by a phase demodulator and Fourier-transformed by a Fourier-transformation device. On the basis of the Fourier transform, the presence of several carrier frequencies is determined by an evaluation device.

  • Patent number: 7436856
Abstract: A method for transmitting digital voice data packets between voice data inputs of a plurality of channels (A B, C, D) and a transmitter comprises the following steps: compressing the voice data packets to compressed data packets in a vocoder assigned to every channel, feeding the compressed data packets of every channel to a control device, unsolicited, unsynchronized transmission of the compressed data packets on a data bus common to all channels from the control device to a processor assigned to the transmitter, combining a defined number of compressed data packets of a certain channel which have been transmitted last on the data bus to a transmission block by means of a processor, a last compressed data packet being fed to the transmission block only when the transmission of the transmission block has already started.

  • Patent number: 7065374
Abstract: The invention relates to a transmitter and receiver device (1) for a cellular radio network, comprising a transmitter installation (6a) and a receiver installation (8a) located at a spatial distance to said transmitter installation (6areceiver (7) is connected to said transmitter installation (6a) and time-controls the transmission of transmission blocks by the installation (6a). The receiver installation (8a) is not provided with a time standard receiver. Instead, the receiver instal (8a), by intercepting the transmission signal emitted by the transmitter installation (6a) located in the same cell, generate signal for synchronizing the time of a timer of the receiver installation (8a).

  • Patent number: 7020216
Abstract: A method for adjusting a phase angle (?) of a phase modifier (25) of a transmitting device which includes a quadrature modulator (3), a power amplifier (9), a quadrature demodulator (19) and differential amplifiers (26, 27). The power amplifier (9) is linearized via the feedback loop (16) according to the Cartesian feedback method. The phase modifier (25) supplies an oscillator signal to the quadrature demodulator (19), which signal is shifted by the phase angle (?) to be adjusted with regard to the oscillator signal that is supplied to the quadrature modulator (3). An input signal with a constant inphase component (I) and a constant quadrature phase component (Q) is applied during each transmission burst in the instance of a closed feedback loop, and the quadrature component (VQM) and/or the inphase component (VIM) is measured at a measuring point (53, 61) located behind the output of the differential amplifiers (26, 27).

  • Patent number: 6977968
Abstract: The invention relates to a transmitting device (19) including a quadrature modulator (3) for carrying out the quadrature modulation of a complex input signal (I, Q) and including a power amplifier (9) connected in outgoing circuit to the quadrature modulator (3). A quadrature demodulator (19) for carrying out the quadrature demodulation of the output signal of the power amplifier (9) is provided for a feedback loop. A first differential amplifier (26) and a second differential amplifier (27) are connected in incoming circuit to the quadrature modulator (3). The input signal and the fed back quadrature modulated signal are supplied to the inputs of the differential amplifiers.
