  • Patent number: 4710078
Abstract: A device for the internal deburring of a pipe or shaped tubular member, such as for removing the inwardly projecting portion of an axially extending seam, includes a support body elongated in the axial direction of the pipe. A cutting ring is clamped externally to the support body adjacent one of its ends. The cutting ring has an axis extending transversely of the axis of the pipe. The support body is constructed so that the cutting ring can turn in the rotational direction around the axis of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 4358231
Abstract: A device for internally deburring tubes and the like welded along a longitudinal seam includes an elongated main support body. A cutting ring is mounted in the main body adjacent to one of its ends and the ring projects outwardly from one surface on the body. Guide rollers are mounted in the main support body with two of the guide rollers spaced apart in the elongated direction of the body and projecting outwardly from the same surface as the cutting ring. Three additional rollers are located between the other two guide rollers and project outwardly from the surface of the main body opposite the one surface.

  • Patent number: 4266896
Abstract: A tubular cutter with flared end and circular edge is obliquely held and centered by resilient guide elements, one in line (axially) with the edge, the other one acting radially opposite and axially between the first one and the edge. The edge has a larger diameter than the cutter is long (axially), and the latter has its interior contoured for smooth burr removal.

  • Patent number: 3980611
Abstract: A thermoplastic film having dispersed therein an inert material consisting essentially of:1. coarse particles having a size greater than 2.5 microns in a concentration determined by the formulaC.sub.1 = K.sub.coarse/T 0.6where C.sub.1 is the concentration of coarse particles in parts per million, K.sub.coarse is at least equal to an emperically determined value of K.sub.coarse at the minimum concentration of coarse particles which permits escape of air during film wind-up, and T is film thickness in mils,2. medium particles having a size of 1 to 2.5 microns in a concentration determined by the formulaC.sub.2 = K.sub.medium/T 0.6where C.sub.2 is the concentration of medium particles in parts per million, K.sub.medium is no greater than an emperically determined value of K.sub.medium at the concentration of medium particles in a film having a clarity of 50%, and T is film thickness in mils, and3. fine particles having a size less than 1 micron in a concentration determined by the formula:C.sub.3 = K.sub.
