Abstract: A seat plate for an adjustable depth seat, in particular of an office chair, comprises two partial plates, the distance of which from each other is adjustable and fixable in the direction of seat depth. In particular, the partial plates are joined to each other by a guide and a releasable locking device, adjustment of seat depth thereby being enabled to take place in the substantially horizontal adjusting direction.

Abstract: A chair with inclinable seat, in particular an office chair, is provided with a pedestal, with a seat support supported on the pedestal via a chair column, which seat support comprises a front and a rear seat support element interconnected via a pivot axle, with a seat supported on the seat support elements, with a backrest secured to the rear seat support element and with a longitudinally adjustable energy storing device articulated to the seat support elements at a distance from their pivot axle for mutually adjusting the backrest and the seat. A support element is provided with a receptacle for the upper end of the chair column. The receptacle is articulated on the seat support element via an articulated axle arranged parallel to the pivot axle of the front and the rear seat support element.

Abstract: A chair, in particular an office chair, is provided with a chair frame, a seat supported thereon and a backrest. The seat comprises a base portion constituting the main face and a rim portion supported on its front rim to be pivotable about a horizontal transverse axis and which is adjustable into different pivoted positions referred to the base portion by means of an adjusting mechanism for adjustment of the seat depth of the seating face.The adjusting mechanism comprises an adjusting spindle rotatably supported on the base portion in parallel to the transverse axis underneath the seat and on which a two-armed adjusting lever extending at right angles to the adjusting spindle is supported to be pivotable about the adjusting spindle and to be displaceable in the direction of the spindle axis by a spindle rotation. With its bracket facing the rim portion the adjusting lever is in articulated connection with the rim portion.

Abstract: An armrest for seating furniture is provided with a guide column extending in the vertical direction, with an armrest body which is guided thereon telescopically displaceably by virtue of a counter guide and with a locking device arranged on the armrest body for vertically fixing the armrest body in relation to the guide column. The guide column and the counter guide of the armrest body are formed in such symmetrical :manner in relation to an axis of symmetry extending in the vertical direction, that the armrest body is securable on the guide column in two different assembly positions rotated by 180.degree. about the axis of symmetry one referred to the other.

Abstract: A chair, in particular office chair, comprises a seat support, which carries a seat, and a back rest, which is provided with a rod-shaped back rest support, which in turn is releasably connected with the rear end of the seat support. In order to embody the connection of the back rest with the seat support such that it can be made or released in a simple manner with regard to design and very quickly, a clamping device is formed at the rear end of the seat support, which clamping device has a receiving sleeve which can be clamped together and which receives the rod-shaped back rest support.
