    Abstract: The invention relates to a method of replenishing and/or preparing water-displacing treating liquids or mixtures of these treating liquids and of water-absorbing liquids. Said liquids are contained in treating compartments and are used to remove water which adheres to the surface of objects immersed in the treating liquids. The objects may consist of, for example, glass, ceramic, nickel, copper, stainless steel or synthetic resin such as, for example, disc-shaped information carriers.
