Abstract: The invention is based on a drive train (10) of a motor vehicle in which a control device (16) limits an output torque of a drive machine (14) to a first maximum value or a second, higher maximum value. The object of the invention is to propose a drive train which permits low fuel consumption. According to the invention, the control device (16) has a signal transmitting connection to a roadway information device (camera 53) which supplies information relating to a profile of the roadway in front of the motor vehicle. The control device (16) can thus predictively change from the first maximum value to the second maximum value or carry out shifting back in the transmission (19).

Abstract: A gripping roller free-wheeling device, with a springy support of the gripping rollers on cross tongues of a cage which is formed by two or more annular members disposed adjacent the gripping rollers; the tongues are stamped out of the sheet metal annular members and are bent off approximately at right angle to the plane of the annular members whereby the form and position of the stamping edge is such that the stamped-out openings which remain in one annular member approximately within the area of half the pitch of the cross tongues, permit the passage therethrough of the bent-off cross tongues of the other annular member.

Abstract: A free-wheeling arrangement in which gripping rollers are arranged between an inner race and an outer race which is equipped with gripping surfaces and short abutment flanks; the gripping rollers are forced into the gripping position by springs which are supported on cross tongues of a cage formed by a sheet metal ring, out of which are punched out the cross tongues; the sheet metal ring of a cage is thereby fixed in the axial direction by the clamping-in action between the outer race and the structural part accommodating the same while an outwardly directed nose portion is provided at least at one cross tongue of each cage to prevent relative rotation, which engages in a cross groove provided in the inner contour of the outer race; a disk covers off the free-wheeling device which serves simultaneously as abutment for the gripping rollers.
