  • Patent number: 5065127
Abstract: A relay includes a leaf spring for bearing an armature at a free end of a yoke, the leaf spring forming, first, a bearing plate lying against the yoke and, second, a pull-back spring applied thereto in one piece. The pull-back spring has a first section cut free from the middle of the bearing plate so that the bearing plate is subdivided into two plate sections on which the armature rests only at its lateral regions on its bearing edges. Further, the pulled-back spring as its free end cut arcuately roughly symmetrical to the center axis of the bearing plate to exert an approximately symmetrical pull-back force on the armature.

  • Patent number: 4818965
Abstract: In a relay including an angle yoke (5), a flat armature (8) and a thin base plate (6) applied to the outside of the yoke, which forms a bearing groove (7) for the armature (8) together with the rectangularly cut end face (5a) of the yoke. The armature is pushed into the bearing groove by a predetermined particularly shaped bearing spring (15) and acted upon by a reset rotational moment. Through this arrangement, a space saving and cost-efficient construction of the relay with constant armature bearing force is obtained as well as low response efficiency.

  • Patent number: 4731597
Abstract: A relay includes a coil member having a base body with a contact space at one end containing two cooperating contact elements, and an elongated contact spring extending next to the coil. The principal plane of each of an angular yoke, an angled armature seated at the yoke, a contact spring, and a connecting plate electrically and mechanically connected to the contact spring are all perpendicular to the connecting plane of the relay. The connecting plate has a U-shaped profile and surrounds the contact spring so that together with the base body, the contours of the cuboid housing are formed which is sealed with foil.

  • Patent number: 4349693
Abstract: A method and apparatus for sealing an electrical component in a housing surrounding the component employs a system of capillary channels in the housing through which sealing resin is conducted from a dispensing point to completely close and seal any housing gaps. A reliable sealing and closing of different housing joints is achieved by connecting only those housing joints of identical or similar capillary characteristics to a particular dispensing point via channels. A number of different dispensing points each associated with a particular group of housing gaps to be sealed are thus provided and different resins or variations of a same resin may be individually supplied to each dispensing point. The dispensing points and associated capillary channels may be contoured and profiled in order to best facilitate resin flow therein in order to insure a complete sealing of the housing.
