Abstract: Sealing strip (1) for sealing a joint (23) between a frame profile (12), for example a window-frame profile, and a wall (15), having an elastically resilient foam strip (2) which is accommodated in a compressed state in a tear-open wrapper (3), which allows recovery of the foam strip (2). The tear-open wrapper (3) comprises a plastic sheet (F) which encloses the foam strip (2) and, at the same time, forms a tear-off flap (4) extending in longitudinal direction of the sealing strip (1).

Abstract: A joint-sealing strip is made of soft foam material, with an impregnation leading to delayed recovery. In order to obtain a simple structure combined with an advantageous design especially with respect to technical handling, the impregnation varies over the width of the joint-sealing strip, namely in a marginal longitudinal area. A strengthened impregnation is made preferably extending over the total thickness in the marginal longitudinal area, in such a manner that upon release of the recovery, a profile rising toward a longitudinal center line of the joint-sealing strip is obtained.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a sealing element, particularly for the sealing of joints, having a foam element which is elastically expandable with delay as a result of impregnation and a substantially air-tight cover. In order to obtain improved tightness of the seal while retaining the advantageous ability of use of such a sealing element, the cover forms an open region within which the foam element is exposed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a sealing element of foam of delayed elastic resilience as a result of impregnation, in which, in order to obtain improved properties, on each cross-sectional plane (2) the delayed resilience is inherent in only a part of the elastically resilient volume and the remaining part (4) of the elastically resilient volume consists of closed-cell foam.
