Abstract: Synthetic fibers and synthetic fiber textile materials finished with mineral oil finishes, silicone oil finishes or both can be simultaneously stripped of these finishes and dyed in one liquor comprising as essential ingredientsa) anionic and/or amphoteric surfactants,b) dyes, andc) optionally further compounds selected from the group consisting of the nonionic surfactants, the terpene hydrocarbons/alcohols, sorbitol esters and their alkoxylates, fatty acid ethanolamides, alkylpolyglycosides and solvents.The treatment is carried out at pH 4.0 to 7.5 at 80-110.degree. C. and at a liquor ratio of 5:1 to 100:1.

Abstract: Improved compositions for dyeing or printing textile materials of natural or synthetic fibers or mixtures of the two comprise polyaspartic acid or a derivative thereof and, if appropriate, wetting agents, emulsifiers, leveling agents, dispersing agents, reducing agents, oxidizing agents, solubilizing agents, defoamers, reist agents, pH regulators, complexing agents or several of these as further components.

Abstract: The aromatic formaldehyde condensation products, which are substantially colorless and water-soluble and contain sulphonate and/or carboxylate groups, are obtainable by adding agents which have a reducing action during and/or after the condensation reaction, and are suitable for the treatment of textiles and leather.
