    Abstract: The apparatus comprises a chair having a frame with a forward and rear transverse supporting members. A seat is mounted to the forward and rear transverse members and further comprises a rear attachment between the seat and the rear transverse supporting member to secure the rear of the seat to the frame. A front attachment member extends from the seat and is adapted to engage the forward transverse supporting member when the rear attachment member engages the rear transverse supporting member. A clip adapted to engage the forward transverse support member secures engagement between the front attachment member and the forward transverse supporting member. The seat is constructed having a peripheral groove which is disposed behind or underneath the seat so as not to be visible when standing in front of the chair.

    Abstract: In a steam pressing station, a fabric piece to be pressed is drawn into a gap between a lower pressing member and an upper pressing member by a conveyor belt movably attached to the lower pressing member. A clamping device is fastened to the conveyor belt for clamping a leading edge of the fabric piece to the belt during an intake stroke thereof. A fabric seam threading device is mounted to the upper pressing member for automatically separating fabric edge strips during the intake stroke of the conveyor belt. The fabric seam threading device includes a separator sword flanked on opposite sides by a pair of seam guides movably mounted for rapid adjustment of the vertical position of the seam guides relative to a frame of the fabric seam threading device and simultaneous rapid adjustment of the separation between the two seams guides.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for introducing water-soluble substances, especially plant treatment substances, such as fertilizers, plant protectives, weed killers and the like, into a water stream, the apparatus having a casing for carrying a water stream and a container for taking up said substances. The container is arranged within said casing for rotation around a rotational axis and has a completely closed peripheral wall, laterally limiting the interior of said container, and has a completely closed bottom wall section. At least one opening is provided at the upper side of said container, the edge of said opening being nearer to the rotational axis of the container than at least a part of the inner surface of the peripheral wall, said part being arranged in between the bottom wall section and the opening.
